‘Oh no she didn’t’
By | November 4th, 2010

I devoured Clinton Kelly’s new book called, ‘Oh no she didn’t’ full of Clinton’s unabashed fashion observations which could have been called, Oh no he didn’t! A quick read which I recommend. Sometimes I laughed so hard I cried. He rips the top 100 faux pas to shreads. Some of my favorite pages are in […]

This year I had the wonderful honor of judging the costume contest at Gilt City’s Monster Mash organized and curated by the uber talented Adam Aleksander […]

By | October 21st, 2010

Does your Ipad need some bling?
By | October 10th, 2010

Kara Ross’s Ipad holder I found the chicest ipad holder at Kara Ross during fashion week. I was lucky to get some one on one time with the designer. This is one of the items that blew me away. She used amazing skins and custom cut precious stones.  Bergdorfs carries her line. More info here. […]

Real/Faux Gucci
By | October 9th, 2010

“Night of Italian Glamour” I was lured to an event at the Pierre last week that at a quick glance I believed would be hosted by Gucci the brand. I think don’t think I was alone in that conclusion. The event however was hosted by Giorgio Gucci who sold his famous Gucci name to the […]

1950’s Les Salonnieres Pool Party
By | October 9th, 2010

A secret location only revealed to ticketed guests…A meeting point in the LES where Brewla pops were distributed and the directions shown as you ate your tea pop. A neighborhood with ‘flavor’. A tucked away at the Sea Horse Swim Club pool which has probably never seen an event much like this one. Gawker tv’s […]

How do they do it? For me they always get it right. Love love love the metallics and louchy looks. Although some may not be great for reality it made for beautiful runway. Soft, feminine, flowy, drapey. Collection was inspired by. Now being designed by Tia’s sister Fiona Cibani. Clients include Olivia Palermo, Paula Patton, […]
