This appearance was very near and dear to my heart because I’m at Lord and Taylor ALOT with my private clients. It’s one of NYC secret weapons and majorly featured in the book.
AND it was part of their Charity Day which benefits
Look Good Feel Better non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and self-esteem of people undergoing cancer treatment by helping them to deal with the appearance-related side effects of treatment.
Some of my favorite people came out to mix and mingle, purchase their book and get it personalized by me.
Sandra Gault of True Gault took advantage of the fabulous coupons Lord and Taylor was offering that day and stayed through the whole event.
Some magical connections also happened. When Jenny Moore, founder of Bling Guard arrived she noticed that my assistant Karina’s earrings were drooping so she gifted her a pair of bling dots that rectified the situation. Karina had never heard of the product and was delighted for the fashion emergency solution. Bling Guard donated samples that everyone who bought a book got a sample packet of bling dots and bling wraps.
Donna Distefano who is featured in the book as a custom gold smith designer came with her husband and was really to excited to know about bling wraps-disposable ring size adjusters because she often sends rings out to celebrities to be worn on the red carpet that cannot be sized.
It was delightful to see the connections made because the whole premise of Vetted by a Stylist has been to connect people, products, and companies.
There were lots of hugs all around.
Special thanks to Lord and Taylor, Marcy, Vicky, and Stacey at Lord and Taylor, my assistant Karina and Sandra.
