1950’s Les Salonnieres Pool Party

A secret location only revealed to ticketed guests…A meeting point in the LES where Brewla pops were distributed and the directions shown as you ate your tea pop. A neighborhood with ‘flavor’. A tucked away at the Sea Horse Swim Club pool which has probably never seen an event much like this one. Gawker tv’s Chris Han is there flip caming away, the Nocturnalist Sarah Maslin Nir and photographer Beatrice de Gea are reporting from the New York Times, guests are enjoying the ‘prison fare’ inspired menu by Anne Apparu of 18th street supper club, DJ Miss Bliss is spinning 1950’s sock hop tunes, Christina Casey is painting away, hipsters are posing, finally someone cannon balls into the pool and swimming commences. I wish all events I attend could be this quirky. Oh yeah the mastermind behind the curtain is Adam Aleksander who co produced this event with Mat Heggem of Queer Art Impact come as you are. Couldn’t be possible without the sponsors Hendricks Gin, Chartreuse,  illegal Mezcal, and Brewla pops-(my favorite was lemon ginger with cream filling YUM). I heart New York city.
