Client Policies

(and a few gentle reminders)

Unlike most personal shoppers, as a stylist I do not make money based on how much you spend.

It is in my best interest to help you make smart decisions on your purchases. Please be upfront about your shopping budget, and I will use your exact budget to tailor our work together.

I have built my business around getting you amazing style results. I am here to serve, and
your satisfaction is my number one priority. I want to make sure both my client’s and my own goals are aligned. I invite you to share with me your priorities and needs in the questionnaire and in person at our first session.

As a service, my one-on-one packages are non-refundable.

I have yet to ever have a client want their money back. However, if after the first session, you feel that our working relationship is wrong for you for any reason, you may cancel further
appointments and simply pay for time used. I will refund you the un-used portion, or you may choose to re-gift the hours to another person. After the second session, the whole package is non-refundable.

Transportation of both of us between stores and sources during our scheduled sessions is at the responsibility of the client. You may choose to walk or to travel by subway, taxi, or hired town car.

When needed and approved, Alexandra Greenawalt may use client hours to pre-shop for a client at predetermined stores solely for that client.

Please do not be late for our appointments as billing begins at the scheduled time.

If you need to cancel or reschedule our appointment, please do so with 24-48 hours notice to avoid a $50 cancellation fee. Obviously, in case of a medical emergency where you or a loved one have to be admitted to the hospital, this fee can be waived.

It’s a great idea to wear comfortable shoes and to pack a snack before embarking on the shopping excursions. I want you to be at your very best in order to take full advantage of our time together.

Please let me know your comfort level in terms of privacy and promotion.
As each client is different, some wish to remain 100% anonymous whereas others are comfortable with being mentioned or photographed on my blog, twitter, facebook, etc. The decision is totally up to you, and you can think about it and let me know what feels right to you in terms of sharing your styling experience with the public.

The first session is always at my atelier. It’s where we have ideal setting to do your personalized color and shape analysis.

Atelier Location:
The actual address is: 372 5th Avenue 10H. Alexandra Greenawalt.
However, the entrance to the building is on 35th St. between 5th and 6th Aves.
It’s located on the northwest corner of the street opposite the KATWALK.

The closest subway station is Herald square on 34th St. and 6th Ave.
Subway lines that stop there are N, R, Q, W, F, V, B, and D.
There is a very easy subway exit at this station that brings you to 35th St. and 6th Ave. Just walk east towards 5th Ave., and it’s on the northern side.
The red line stops on 7th Avenue, which is convenient too.
